Architectural Remodelling

£100k – £500k

Full residential and commercial remodels where design quality and finish precision are the point - not an afterthought.

We handle projects from initial design through to handover - reconfiguration, extension, structural alteration, and full specification finish. For clients working with an architect, we step in as the delivery partner who reads drawings properly and protects the design intent through every stage of the build.

For clients who don't yet have an architect, we bring design thinking to the brief ourselves, ensuring the project is conceived and delivered with the same level of care.

Residential extensions and full remodels
Structural alteration and reconfiguration
High-specification internal and external finish
Architect-facing delivery or direct client relationship
Full project management from brief to handover

Heritage & Conservation

£25k – £500k

Listed buildings, period properties, sensitive conservation and restoration - delivered with the technical rigour that heritage work demands.

Heritage work requires a different depth of understanding. Every decision is made against the original fabric of the building, the conservation officer's requirements, and the architectural logic of what was there before. It requires a contractor who reads these constraints not as obstacles but as the brief itself.

Matt has worked on some of the UK's most significant heritage buildings - the British Museum and Victoria Palace Theatre among them. That experience is what makes the difference between a heritage project delivered well and one that gets it wrong.

Grade I and Grade II* listed buildings
Period property restoration and repair
Conservation officer liaison and compliance
Traditional materials and methods where required
Sensitive integration of modern elements

Architectural Finishes

£50k – £300k

High-specification external and internal finishes where the quality of the craft is the entire point of the commission.

Feature facades, specialist cladding, bespoke external envelope work, high-spec internal finishes - this is where the distinction between a good contractor and a great one is most visible. The tolerance on the joint, the flatness of the plane, the precision of the reveal. These things matter.

Our background in external envelope and architectural cladding on landmark commercial projects means we bring a level of technical precision to this work that is genuinely rare at the residential and small-commercial scale.

Feature external facades and cladding
Specialist materials - stone, metal, timber, GRC
Bespoke joinery and internal feature elements
High-tolerance finish work for design-led projects
Architect-specified material and detail delivery

Commercial Refurbishment

£75k – £400k

Boutique hospitality, workspace, studios, and cultural spaces - commercial refurbishment where the quality of the environment is part of the proposition.

Commercial clients at this scale need a contractor who understands that the quality of the finish is not a luxury - it's what the business is selling. A boutique hotel or restaurant lives or dies by the experience of the space. We understand that.

We work within occupied and semi-occupied commercial environments, managing programme and disruption with the same care as the build itself. Across Peterborough, Rutland, and Cambridge, we've developed relationships with commercial clients who return because we deliver on brief, on time, and on budget.

Boutique hospitality - restaurants, hotels, bars
Studio and workspace refurbishment
Retail and cultural space fit-out
Occupied building works and phased delivery
Design-led finish throughout

The contractor who speaks your language

If you've spent years watching contractors misread your drawings, value-engineer your details, or hand over a project that looks like an approximation of the design - we understand. We exist precisely for that problem.

We work as an extension of the architectural team. The intent in your drawing is the intent we build to.

Talk to us about your project
01
We read drawings properly
Not just the dimensions - the intent, the detail logic, the material rationale. We ask the right questions before we start, not after.
02
We protect your design
Where a standard contractor would find a cheaper alternative, we come back to you. Design decisions stay with the designer.
03
We communicate clearly
One point of contact. Straight answers. No surprises. You know what's happening on site without having to chase.
04
We're selective
We take five projects a year. If we commit to yours, it has our full attention. We won't be distracted by the next job.
